Questions Meet Their Match
-
Your sponsorship directly supports programming costs such as transportation, meals, stipends, materials, and hands‑on learning experiences.
-
Yes. Your organization is welcome to host a tour or serve as a guest speaker without being a financial sponsor. We value partners who share their industry expertise, open their doors for learning experiences, or participate in mock interviews just as much as those who support the program financially. These contributions play a vital role in helping young adults explore career pathways, build confidence, and gain real‑world insight — and they strengthen Erie’s talent pipeline in meaningful ways.
-
Future Focused Academy currently serves multiple cohorts of young adults each year, reaching dozens of participants through our eight‑week workforce readiness program. As demand continues to grow, we’re preparing for a major expansion in 2027 — increasing from 4 cohorts to 10 cohorts annually and increasing the number of participants we can serve in each cohort. This growth will allow us to support significantly more emerging adults across Erie, deepen our impact, and strengthen the local talent pipeline by connecting employers with a larger pool of motivated, work‑ready young adults.

Sponsorship strengthens Erie’s talent pipeline by equipping young adults with the real‑world skills, experiences, and employer connections they need to succeed in today’s workforce. When organizations invest in Future Focused Academy, they help expand access to financial literacy, professional communication, career exploration, and hands‑on learning — all of which prepare participants to step confidently into employment. Sponsorship also fuels our 2027 expansion, allowing us to increase both the number of cohorts and the number of participants we serve each year. This growth creates a larger pool of motivated, work‑ready young adults and provides employers across Erie with dependable, prepared talent who understand professionalism, workplace expectations, and long‑term career pathways.
-
Yes. Sponsorship can absolutely be customized to align with your company’s goals, values, and areas of interest. Whether your organization wants to strengthen its hiring pipeline, support financial literacy, champion a specific class topic, provide hands‑on experiences, or invest in Erie’s emerging workforce, we tailor partnership opportunities to fit your priorities. As Future Focused Academy expands in 2027 — increasing both the number of cohorts and the number of participants we serve — we’re able to offer even more customized engagement options, from industry‑specific learning experiences to branded cohort support.

Yes. All financial sponsorships made to Future Focused Academy are tax‑deductible. As a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, contributions made to support our cohorts, participant materials, transportation, meals, stipends, and program expansion qualify as charitable gifts under IRS guidelines. After your sponsorship is received, we provide a formal acknowledgment letter for your records so your company can easily document the contribution for year‑end tax purposes.
